  • Check-in is midday on arrival day

    Check-out is 3pm on departure day

  • Group Booking

    A $150.00 non refundable deposit within 2 weeks to secure your spot.

    An invoice will be issued 30 days out from your retreat date for the balance and must be paid 7 days prior to your scheduled retreat.

    Payments can be made by bank transfer - account details will be on the invoice provided.

  • If you need to cancel, your $150 deposit is non-refundable, but we’re happy to work with you to transfer your booking to another date if there’s availability. Please let us know as soon as you can so we can help you reschedule and open up your spot for others.

  • Yes! Stay connected - or enjoy a little digital detox while you create.

  • The retreat house is unhosted but Leigh will be floating around at various times of the weekend and her contact number and email is provided on the contact page.

  • We’ve got room for 18 guests, each with their own comfy bed.

  • You can stay an extra night before or after your retreat for $30 per guest. Just a heads-up - these extra nights don’t include meals since they fall outside the weekend schedule.

  • The house will be ready and waiting for you at noon - we’ll have everything set up and ready for your arrival.

  • Friends are welcome to join you for a crafty day! We ask for a $20 donation/koha per guest, per day to cover tea, coffee, and power. Just a heads-up - meals aren’t included.

  • The Threaded Needle Retreat is “unhosted” to keep costs low for everyone. I’ve got work and grandkids to juggle, so hiring extra staff would make the retreat much more expensive. Guests take care of simple things like warming meals, keeping the kitchen tidy, and washing dishes.

  • Our menu changes with the seasons, but here’s an example of what a weekend might look like:

    • Friday Dinner: Lasagna with crusty bread, salad, and ice-cream for dessert

    • Saturday Breakfast: Yoghurt, muesli, toast & spreads, tea/coffee, fruit

    • Saturday Lunch: Make-your-own deli sandwiches from the fridge

    • Saturday Dinner: Casserole or roast with veggies and dessert

    • Sunday Breakfast: Same as Saturday

    • Sunday Lunch: Veggie quiche and salad
